Blended learning is a trend in educational technology. Blended learning is a learning model that combines traditional face-to-face instruction and online learning. The literature review on blended learning tells that such learning mode would impact students positively, such as student engagement and student motivation. According to the research, this learning model could also create more learning opportunities and flexibility for a student-centered and personalized learning approach. However, whether blended learning are beneficial or not might also depend on how teachers design and implement such learning programs and teaching models, and more support structures need to be equipped properly before or during implementation, particularly for teachers and student. In conclusion, the literature review of educational technology offers promising trend for educational innovation with cutting-edge educational technology to promote learners' learning in future.
